A not so wordless Wednesday ..... Hello to my favorite time of year!

Bushy Beardgrass Noxubee County Mississippi

Andropogon glomeratus

Allie and I went out to feed the horse last week and it was absolutely beautiful. The sky was blue, the weather was the perfect temperature, no humidity at all hardly, and that wonderful gorgeous early fall light was back. Fall is my favorite time of year for a myriad of reasons and just one happens to be that Mississippi has the most beautiful light this time of year. It only lasts until about November or so but it has to be my most favorite time of year to be outside. The light gives the most perfect warm golden glow to anything it touches. It makes even the most mundane of things like bushy beardgrass glow and look wondrous. Happy Fall my lovelies!

Yes, this gras is an absolute annoying weed but it’s just so fun to photograph and so fluffy!

PS. I have the BEST photographer’s assistant ever. She makes anything and everything fun.
